Study Department Agenda
The UCM Study Department mainly carries out the following agenda:
- provides comprehensive processing of the study agenda of Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students up to the completion of their studies;
- processes the dates of admission procedures in AIS;
- coordinates and manages all processes related to the admission procedure;
- decides on the rights of applicants to study at UCM faculties, reviews decisions on non-admission to study and ensures their subsequent processing;
- carries out the enrolment of students in each year of Bachelor, Master and PhD studies;
- controls the course of studies, registers changes in student's personal data and enrolled courses in AIS;
- checks the fulfilment of study conditions in the individual years of Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral studies in accordance with the applicable regulations and takes the documents for the state examinations;
- checks the successful completion of the study programme, including study documentation, processes the results of the state examination, confirms eligibility for the issue of a diploma to the graduate and issues a certificate of graduation;
- prepares the documents and checks the conditions laid down for the payment of the incentive scholarship to bachelor's and master's students;
- checks that the conditions for the payment of scholarships to doctoral students have been met;
- processes and handles student applications in accordance with the regulations in force and registers correspondence in the Memphis system;
- provides advice and information to students and applicants on study matters in accordance with the regulations in force;
- maintains statistics on individual degrees and forms of study at the UCM faculties, checks data for the CRS, processes the statement on the university, participates in the preparation of documents for the annual report and statistical reports;
- participates in the provision of the most important university-wide events of an educational, scientific and cultural - social character, in the preparation and opening of the academic year, graduations, matriculations, etc.;
- prepares file documentation for archiving;
- communicates and keeps records with the foreign police;
- performs other related tasks and activities.
