Internal quality system - quality guarantee at UCM

The University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava ensures the quality of higher education by implementing the internal quality system and its continuous development. The internal quality assurance system of higher education at UCM is understood as a consistently interrelated set of policies, structures and processes through which UCM ensures and develops the quality of fulfilling its mission in the field of higher education, creative activities and other related activity.

The internal quality assurance system for higher education at UCM is the set of policies, structures and processes through which the University:

• accepts responsibility for the quality of the education provided at all components, at all levels and in all aspects,
• ensures the quality of higher education in the field of education, creative activities and other related activities carried out at UCM,
• guarantees quality assurance in accordance with the SAAVŠ standards for the internal quality assurance system for higher education and with the standards for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG 2015),
• fulfils its mission and strategic objectives.

UCM has received "institutional accreditation". The Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (SAAVŠ) has granted UCM the rights to create, modify and approve study programmes in all fields of study and at all levels of education in which UCM carries out study programmes (SAAVŠ, Executive Board Resolution No. 73/6 of 16.5.2024).
