The PR department mainly carries out the following agenda:
-
methodically guides UCM faculties and UCM components in the field of public relations, marketing and organization of events, congresses and conferences;
-
provides basic information on the activities of UCM and its faculties;
-
ensures the content management of the UCM website and the updating of the content, according to the requirements of the individual organisational units of the Rector's Office;
-
ensures cooperation with the press and other mass media; organises press conferences of the Rector and UCM;
-
ensures communication of UCM with the media and its external presentation;
-
collaborates in the development of the content and form of communication outputs;
-
ensures the promotion of UCM and provides information on UCM activities;
-
concluding contracts related to public relations, marketing and organisation of selected university-wide events, congresses and conferences (in particular work contracts, copyright licence agreements, agreements on work performance with external collaborators);
-
ensures the presentation of UCM at exhibitions, conferences, fairs and major social events within the Slovak Republic and cooperates in the presentation of the results of the scientific research work of UCM as well as in the organisation of such events;
-
assists in the development of cooperation with scientific institutions and important social life subjects;
-
ensures the planning and implementation of the UCM promotion concept;
-
communicates with the supplier advertising institutions;
-
ensures the preparation, processing, editing and production of promotional materials;
-
methodically directs the sale of marketing items with the UCM logo;
-
develops a system of promotion of scientific, pedagogical and other activities of UCM and ensures its implementation;
-
organises university-wide promotional events to attract new students and university-wide social events;
-
helps to ensure communication with alumni;
-
performs other related tasks and activities.
