ALUMNI CLUB of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava is an opportunity to stay connected with your university, where you have spent several years of your life. It creates a new space and opportunity for communication between all alumni and the university or your faculty.
If you join the ALUMNI CLUB, in addition to keeping in touch with your ALMA MATER - UNIVERSITY OF ST. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, you will be kept informed about events at the university, what's new and what's going on, or how you can get directly involved in events, educational activities and research.
You can search for your classmates within the ALUMNI application, which runs as you would otherwise if not in the AIS. The more information you leave about yourself, the better for your friends and mates who may want to look you up. The system is closed and only our alumni have access after verifying their details.
We will send offers, invitations and other information to registered graduates by e-mail and, conversely, registered members can present job offers to UCM students and graduates on our website, or offer internships, professional events, or excursions for UCM students in their companies.

When I was finishing my PhD, I had an offer from Denník N to do sports journalism full-time on my desk for about a year - I had wanted to do that for years. It was a clear choice. I love journalism and I respect Denník N as a medium. I couldn't turn it down.

The thing I value most is that the school gave me a world of contacts. We had people from the practice coming to our classes. If one is a little bit active, one finds that it's very easy to get into an advertising agency. My first advertising-related internship was in my second year. When I left as a graduate student in my fifth year, I had a three-year internship under my belt.

Erik Urc from the Faculty of Social Sciences became the first student ombudsman not only at UCM, but also in Slovakia. At the faculty, he serves as the Vice Dean for Development and teaches a course on PR activities, which is designed for communication and feedback from students, as well as developing the image of the faculty.

At the Institute of Nanotechnology KIT in Karlsruhe, he worked on palladium-catalyzed crosscoupling reactions, preparation and deposition of magnetoactive charge-neutral complexes on functional surfaces. His main scientific interest covers the field of molecular magnetism, where he was responsible for the discovery of Reciprocal Temperature Behavior in slow magnetic relaxation processes.

Keď som končil moje doktorandské štúdium, mal som už asi rok na stole ponuku od Denníka N venovať sa športovej žurnalistike na plný úväzok – to som dlhé roky chcel. Bola to jednoznačná voľba. Žurnalistiku milujem a Denník N si ako médium mimoriadne vážim. Nemohol som to odmietnuť.
