How do I search the phone book?

The phone book is searchable:

• by surname,
• by first and last name,
• to the above options it is possible to add filtering based on the main organizational units (rectorate, bursar's office, faculties and institutes),
• filtering based on the person's job title can be added to the above options.

 

Search by name:

• The phone book searches by surname by default,
• the minimum number of characters for the search is 3 characters,
• the entered string does not have to be at the beginning of the person's surname / first name,
• if you want to specify the full or part of the first name, please specify them in the order first name first name space last name, the part of the first name must contain at least 3 characters,
• the search supports both accented and unaccented searches,
• case is not taken into account in the search.

 

Diacritics:

• for the specified letters without accents, both accented and unaccented options will be searched,
• (e.g., for the entered term "ova", the names Kováč, Kovacs, Nováková will be searched)
• for letters entered with accents, only accented options will be searched,
• (e.g., for the entered term "ova", the names Kováč and Nováková will be searched, but not Kovacs)
• case is not taken into account in the search.
