We have received positive feedback at an international forum that addresses university-industry collaboration.

Kreatívne centrum Skladová (KCS) represented Trnava region at the REWARD Interregional Policy Learning Event on University-Industry Collaboration. It took place on 13-14 November in Cagliari, Sardinia. The conference was part of the REWARD Interreg Europe/Retaining and attracting knowledge workers and skills for regional development project, which focuses on talent retention, skills promotion and regional development.

KCS focuses on innovation and the promotion of creative industries, which contributes to the sustainable development of the region. KCS was presented by representatives in the context of the UCM Science and Creative Park as an example of good practice.

The event hosted experts and stakeholders from countries such as Finland, Portugal, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic and Italy. Participants had the opportunity to learn about various examples of successful university-industry cooperation through excursions such as:

A tour of the Sotacarbo Research Centre, which is transforming traditional mining areas into low-carbon technology centres.
Presentation of industrial site revitalization projects such as the ARIA project in Carbonia.
Discussion of the activities of the Sardegna Ricerche Regional Science and Technology Park, which links universities, research centres and industry.
The event also focused on presentations of best practices from different countries, with the Warehouse Creative Centre receiving recognition for its innovative approaches in the field of regional development and talent support. The programme culminated in an interactive discussion in a World Café format, where the strategies presented and their potential for transfer to other regions were further analysed.

The event, organised in the framework of the REWARD Interreg Europe project, highlighted the importance of preventing brain drain and attracting talent back to the regions. Over two days, participants exchanged experiences and discussed concrete initiatives aimed at promoting cooperation between academic and industrial partners, sustainable development and job creation.

"Participating in this event allowed us not only to showcase our activities, but also to gain inspiration and make new contacts with partners from all over Europe. These exchanges of experience are extremely important for our region," said the representative of the Trnava Self-Governing Region.
