Opening the Asian Culture Centre! A Korean lecturer will come to lecture

Our colleagues Bianka Francistyová, Lucia Furtáková and other enthusiasts of Asian culture have been working for a long time on the preparation of a unique project - the Centre of Asian Culture, which finally got its space. The official opening of the CAK will take place on 7 April 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Academic Club on Nám. J. Herdu 2.
During the festive programme, which includes an opening welcome, speeches and an interesting lecture, visitors will get a glimpse of topics related to Korean language and its use in series and films. The lecture and discussion will be led by guest Shin Sang Hyun, making the programme not only informative but also inspiring.
The entire event will be accompanied by other activities - from a refreshing buffet and a dedicated media area to an opportunity for informal gatherings that will strengthen the community of those interested in Asian culture. Organisers have already planned several activities for April and the programme will be in full swing from the next academic year.
