Our University and FC Spartak Trnava join forces: a new partnership for education and sport

On 16 April 2025, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (UCM) and the football club FC Spartak Trnava took place at the Anton Malatinsky Stadium. This step represents a significant milestone in the connection between the academic and sports spheres in the region.
The aim of the partnership is to create a platform for joint projects in the fields of education, research and sport. Thanks to the cooperation, UCM students will gain new opportunities for internships, practical experience in sports management, marketing and active participation in community and social activities that the club regularly organizes.
At the same time, we are pleased that it will continue to be possible to use the popular 1+1 promotion for tickets to Spartak Trnava home games. This benefit applies to UCM students and employees who present a valid student or employee ID when purchasing a ticket.
The signing of the Memorandum symbolizes the joint efforts of both institutions to strengthen the ties between the University and the local community, to promote quality education and the development of sports culture in Trnava.
