Support for PhD students at UCM
The University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava develops various activities to support the development of female and male PhD students and young researchers.
On 3 March 2023, under the guarantee of the Vice-Rector for Science and Research prof. Mgr. Ildikó Matušíková, PhD., a series of university-wide online lectures and seminars entitled I want to know more was launched.
It is intended for PhD students and other interested persons from the professional and general public. The aim of the lectures and seminars is to provide not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical information necessary for studying, and also to add skills that may be useful to the participants. The University recognises that supporting PhD students is important for their success and competitiveness.
Each activity undertaken will be evaluated with the aim of continuous improvement and meeting the needs of PhD students and young researchers. In this context, the participants in the training activities have the opportunity to give feedback, their satisfaction with the lectures and seminars, and, where appropriate, suggestions on what they would find useful to present, by means of a questionnaire.
Suggestions on what they would like to know or what they themselves could offer to others in the framework of these seminars can be given → HERE.
