The graduate is primarily prepared to successfully continue studying this field at the II. degree of higher education. He is well-versed in the field of his subject specialization and wider contexts of pedagogy, education and training, he has mastered information literacy and communication skills. He/she is also able to orient himself/herself in the organizational conditions of institutional education in Slovakia, therefore he/she is able to work mainly in the supporting components of institutional education.
Learning outcomes:
1. Knowledge:
The graduate has a vocabulary of the studied language sufficient for understanding and active communication on the level of general topics, he will acquire key concepts and basic theoretical knowledge from linguistics and literary science, so that he can easily perceive terminology and specialized interpretations in the following years of study. He will become familiar with the history of Russian literature in the European and world context. Get to know the basic facts of the Russian Federation in terms of geography, history, culture and art, gain general knowledge about the problems of intercultural communication (different value orientation, different traditions, ...).
2. Skills:
The graduate is oriented in the way of thinking corresponding to the Russian mentality, knows how to interpret and evaluate culturally determined facts connected with the current and historical social development of Russia, the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation, knows how to identify phenomena that could make intercultural communication difficult or completely impossible, can connect knowledge about Russian realities with the Slovak and European context and dynamically confront them with the realities of the mother culture, can effectively use the acquired knowledge to overcome language and cultural barriers, can identify and verbalize cultural specifics, or culturally conditioned non-verbal behavior of the bearer of Russian culture, master basic information technologies and know how to use them effectively in practice, master basic skills in professional translation and interpretation of general and basic professional topics, master basic elements of business correspondence.
3. Professional competences:
The graduate understands Russian communication based on audio presentation and knows how to actively react, reads original texts and understands read Russian text of medium difficulty. He expresses himself orally without obvious problems in the level of communicative sufficiency, he expresses himself in writing within the framework of normal general and professional communication. Manages skills related to social communication in common life and business situations. Can use theoretical knowledge, including knowledge of Russian literature and culture, in the educational process. He is able to prepare a presentation, he knows how to argue and present himself well in a discussion with students. He knows how to search for the necessary information in the Internet space and use it for his own professional development. Thanks to professional qualifications, he can distinguish relevant information from irrelevant information and from the so-called fake news.
4. Transferable competences:
The graduate will improve his/her communication skills not only in the studied language but also in his/her mother tongue, both in writing and oral expression, acquire skills in working with dictionaries and codification manuals, and can communicate effectively at the level of a work team as well as at the level of student/student groups. He will improve his presentation and rhetorical skills. Through his own reading experience and a comparative approach to the literary text, he will acquire a confrontational and receptive attitude towards national literature and foreign literature. By knowing and interpreting artistic texts of Russian provenance, a competent student will approach them as one of the important components of world literature, which can contribute to the formation of their own value system and the value system of pupils in the practice of the educational process at schools. Graduates will acquire organizational skills, digital skills, improve their creative thinking.
Profile of a graduate of a bachelor's degree in education aimed at teaching assistant:
A graduate in the position of pedagogical assistant can, according to the requirements of a teacher, educator or master of vocational education and in cooperation with professional employees, create equality of opportunities in education and training, help a child, pupil or a group of children or pupils in overcoming architectural, informational, linguistic, health, social or cultural barriers.
Education outcomes in categories:
1. knowledge: the graduate will master the knowledge of pedagogical and psychological disciplines focused on individual work with a student or a group of students with specific educational needs;
2. Skills: under the guidance of a teacher, a graduate can participate in the implementation of educational activities directly in the school environment, independently perform less demanding and auxiliary work in the educational process;
3. Professional competences: the graduate will have mainly developed competences - to identify the developmental and individual characteristics of the pupil, to identify the psychological and social factors of the pupil's learning, to identify the socio-cultural context of the pupil's development, to implement methods of working with pupils with specific educational needs, to plan and realize their professional growth and self-development, cooperate effectively with other professionals, identify with the professional role and the school;
4. Transferable competences: the graduate will have developed communication skills, organizational skills, digital skills, creativity, interpersonal skills, mentoring skills, metacognitive skills and reasoning in context, work in and with a team, the ability to handle stressful situations and obstacles, the ability adapt to changed circumstances and the ability to work in an intercultural environment

Note
When registering the application electronically:
- the applicant is obliged to save the application uploaded in AIS (electronic application) (the status of the application "registered" is not sufficient,
- we recommend using the electronic student book. Applicants who will graduate in the academic year 2024, submit a list of grades for the 1st to 3rd year (4-year study), or for the 2nd to 4th year (5-year study). The report card from the last year and the matriculation certificate must be delivered additionally by post to the study department.
- in case the applicant does not have the possibility to use the electronic student book, it is necessary to send certified copies of the documents by post to the study department,
in the attachment of the electronic application, the applicant uploads a CV and confirmation of payment of the fee for the admission procedure. - the applicant, who graduated before 2024, will deliver to the Study Department (in person or by post) certified copies of the report cards for the 1st to 4th year (4-year study), or for the 2nd to 5th year (5-year study) together with the school leaving certificate.
When applying in writing:
- the application along with all mandatory attachments must be sent by mail to the address: Study Department FF UCM, Nám. J. Herdu 2, 917 01 Trnava, or hand it in at the post office,

The applicant is obliged to submit a decision on the recognition of a document on education obtained outside the territory of the Slovak Republic no later than the day of registration.

Information for international applicants to download
For the study of all study programs - including the study of foreign languages - knowledge of the Slovak language is required. Foreign students who do not have a high school diploma in the Slovak language or a university diploma from a Slovak university must take a language exam.
This condition does not apply to students with Czech citizenship.
It is necessary to register for the language exam in the online form no later than August 20, 2024.
Владение словацким языком требуется для всех учебных программ – включая иностранные языки. Для иностранных студентов, которые не подтверждают свой аттестат зрелости по словацкому языку или университетский диплом словацкого университета, сдача экзамена по словацкому языку является обязательной.
Это условие не распространяется на студентов с чешским гражданством.
