The Social Services and Counseling study program prepares professionals for the profession of social work. The study program is designed to provide enough opportunities for the development of theoretical knowledge, the expansion of skills and competences necessary for practice, which is also supported by professional practice carried out in selected institutions and organizations, supplemented by supervision. After completing the study program, the student will have knowledge in the field of theory, methods and forms of social work, knowledge necessary for working with individual client groups. The study program prepares graduates to know and understand the interdisciplinary connections of the social work profession, and therefore at the level of synthesis, the graduate will acquire knowledge from the basics of philosophy, ethics, psychology, sociology, pedagogy and law and acquire the skills to apply this knowledge in the practical performance of the profession. During the studies, the student will also acquire knowledge of the basics of research in social work. He will apply the acquired knowledge in the process of creating a bachelor's thesis, in which he will demonstrate knowledge of new trends in the theory of social work, an understanding of the social context of the profession, creativity and skill in planning and carrying out his own research work.
Educational goals - required outputs from a master's degree graduate:
The graduate has knowledge in the field of theory and methods and forms of social work, has knowledge of theoretical concepts of social policy, understands the specific influence of the global and local environment on the performance of the profession. A graduate of the master's degree of the Social Services and Counseling study program possesses innovative thinking.

A graduate of the master's degree of the Social Services and Counseling study program can use the acquired knowledge in the analysis of social systems and social phenomena, can generalize the acquired knowledge and appropriately apply it in the practical performance of social work in various areas of social practice. Based on the study, the graduate will be able to:
- independently assess the living situation of the client/clients with regard to the specifics and needs of the relevant group,
- determine the degree of social risk of his/her life situation,
- to plan, choose and use an adequate work methodology for their intervention professional activity and to evaluate the effectiveness of the assistance provided,
- apply theoretical knowledge to practical life situations,
- provide social counseling, specialized social counseling and social therapy, Ø create and implement resocialization programs and social-educational programs,
- evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of social interventions,
- develop a critical analysis focused on the assigned area of social services,
- solve the ethical dilemmas of the profession,
- motivate the client/clients to cooperate,
- can do social expertise, formulate recommendations,
- can participate in the creation of legislative and strategic documents,
- can design and implement projects for the field of social work and social services,
- identify the impact of the external environment on the client's life situation,
- can plan and implement research in social work,
- he knows the importance of supervision and knows how to use it for his own professional growth
The graduate will acquire practical abilities and skills necessary for performance:

ADMISSION CONDITIONS FOR THE BACHELOR'S STUDIES:
Admission conditions for DAILY and EXTERNAL forms of study.
Successful completion of the B.Sc. study program.
Applicants must deliver a medical certificate on the applicant's ability to perform professional practice during their studies no later than on the day of registration (valid for the Social Services and Counseling study program). As a mandatory part of the application for a master's degree, applicants must submit a university diploma, a certificate of state examination, an addendum to the diploma for graduates of study programs, for graduates of study fields, proof of completed exams and credits (certified copies), confirmation of payment of the fee for the admission procedure and a curriculum vitae . Graduates of other fields of study can also apply for the course.

The applicant can submit applications for the study of several study programs, he will indicate only one study program on one application. The applicant pays the fee for each submitted application separately to the faculty account number by bank transfer.

TUITION FEES IN EXTERNAL STUDY PROGRAMS
- B.Sc. study programs:
- three-year study programs - €900 per year
- two-year study programs - €1,000 per year
Annual tuition fees for a secondary education program conducted exclusively in a language other than the state language (the obligation to pay tuition fees arises only if a public higher education institution in the academic year in which the student began studying this study program accepted students for studies in the same field of study and degree in the study program that is also carried out in the state language): €1,000
The annual tuition fee of the SP conducted exclusively in a language other than the state language for a student who is not a citizen of a member state, nor does he have a permanent residence in a member state: €2,500 per year.
