The Vice-Rector for Development and Public Relations shall methodically manage and be responsible to the Rector in particular for:

Coordination of the elaboration of the university development concept and its continuous implementation;
monitoring and evaluating the implementation and updating of UCM's long-term plan as well as its short-term action plan;
elaboration of proposals for the concepts of investment construction, material, spatial and technological equipment of the University, didactic equipment and modernisation of teaching spaces;
preparation and coordination of the University's development projects;
in cooperation with the University's Vice-Rector for Education and the Bursar, coordinating the University's activities in the field of creating optimal conditions for the study, accommodation, catering, sports, cultural and other extra-curricular activities of students;
elaboration of conceptual proposals and social development with the participation of the other Vice-Chancellors and the Bursar;
preparation of analytical materials and documents for the definition of the strategy for further development of UCM and the creation of its main strategic documents and monitoring of their implementation;
coordination of activities related to public relations, UCM promotion activities, marketing, publication of its results, management of the UCM website, social networks and compliance with the visual identity on all materials;
coordinating the building of a positive image inwards (students, staff) and outwards (alumni, public, professional public);
coordination in the field of information and communication technologies;
managing the Career Centre and activities related to the UCM Alumni Club;
manages the PR and Public Communication Department;
manages the UCM Project Centre;
Oversees the activities of the Information and Communication Technology Centre.
