Office Hours

 

The Department of Academic Affairs primarily handles the following tasks:

  • Manages issues related to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral studies. 

  • Administers the study agenda of university study programs. 

  • Checks successful completion of study programs and eligibility for UCM diploma issuance, including study documentation verification. 

  • Prepares and submits proposals for the study schedule for the next academic year based on proposals from various UCM units. 

  • Prepares proposals for determining tuition fees and study-related fees for the next academic year. 

  • Processes and submits proposals for admission procedures for the next academic year based on proposals from various UCM units. 

  • Submits the allocation of subsidies for motivational scholarships to various UCM units according to the Ministry of Education's budgetary guidelines. 

  • Prepares admission examination dates in the AIS system. 

  • Issues study certificates and maintains student records. 

  • Issues duplicate study documents and study completion certificates. 

  • Handles matters related to the issuance of rigorous examination diplomas. 

  • Makes decisions regarding student admissions rights at UCM faculties, reviews decisions on non-admission to study programs. 

  • Administers awards and honors for UCM students and graduates. 

  • Prepares comprehensive information and reports on studies and statistical reports. 

  • Ensures the compatibility of UCM study programs with international standards. 

  • Processes matters related to the recognition of education documents acquired at foreign universities. 

  • Coordinates and organizes graduation ceremonies for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students at UCM. 

  • Manages activities related to the issuance of rigorous examination diplomas. 

  • Participates in organizing and coordinating major university events of educational, scientific, and cultural-social nature. 

  • Maintains statistics on different study levels, forms, faculties, and university study programs. 

  • Ensures accessibility of UCM-accredited study programs to students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. 

  • Provides information on study conditions to applicants with special needs, coordinates services and assistance for these students at the university (e.g., study assistance). 

  • Offers advice and actively advocates for solutions to individual study matters of students with disabilities. 

  • Collaborates with all instructors, employees, and contact persons for students with specific needs at faculties and other UCM departments to ensure proper fulfillment of their study obligations. 

  • Collaborates with similar departments at other universities and organizations for people with disabilities. 

  • Provides input on modifications to accommodation and catering facilities, room arrangements for students with disabilities, provision of special catering, and other services. 

  • Communicates with and maintains records for the foreign police. 

  • Processes the Higher Education Portal – university study programs. 

  • Performs other related tasks and activities.
