Support centres

The Support Centres of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava are aimed at supporting female and male students, or employees, of the University. They are created with the aim of counselling and increasing the comfort of students in particular, but also employees, in different stages of life and personal/work situations.

The centers, which are often closely connected to specific units of UCM (faculties/institutes) due to the nature of their activities and advisory services, provide assistance and guidance in the following areas:

· Helping students find part-time jobs and graduates secure permanent employment, as well as selecting educational activities for self-development in the context of the labor market (UCM Career Center),

· Supporting scientific, research, and artistic activities of staff and students (UCM Service Center for the Support of Science, Research, and Artistic Activities),

· Providing basic legal counseling to students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and students with special needs, in accordance with the principles of inclusiveness and creating conditions for successful study (UCM Counseling and Legal Center for Students from Socially Disadvantaged Backgrounds and Students with Special Needs),

· Offering comprehensive counseling, assistance, and support in difficult life situations, work-related issues, or learning challenges (UCM Psychological Center),

· Creating a platform for communication with former colleagues, students, and the teaching staff of the university (ALUMNI),

· Providing spiritual, pastoral, and additional care (UCM Spiritual Services Center).
