The validity of the UCM student card is pre-printed on the card or marked with a holographic sticker on the back and its validity is from 1 September in a given academic year until 30 September of the following calendar year or until the date of graduation, whichever is earlier.

Students in the second year of their Master's degree and third year of their Bachelor's degree have the transportation discount set through June 30 of the current academic year.

If they do not graduate by that date, they will apply for an extension of the transportation portion at nora.dostalova@ucm.sk and perform an electronic validation at a university or public terminal.
