As part of our membership of the Baltic University Programme (BUP), students and academics of our University can participate in various prestigious activities and programmes. Among the most important upcoming events is the BUP Symposium, which will take place in Uppsala, Sweden, in November 2025 and will address issues of security and resilience of the Baltic Sea Region in the context of environmental, political, social and economic challenges. In addition, the Estonian BUP Presidency is organising a three-day Blue Horizon innovation event focusing on solutions for the blue economy, and a BUP Mobility Grant is available for young researchers to support their scientific activities in the region. The BUP PhD Award, given for outstanding dissertations, is also a major award.
