
Evaluation of the questionnaire on the principles of equal treatment and equal opportunities at UCM

Between 11 February and 28 February 2025, the University conducted a survey entitled "Questionnaire on the Principles of Equal Treatment and Opportunities at UCM", which was aimed at female and male students, staff and employees of the University.
The aim of the questionnaire was to obtain information about the respondents' awareness of the principles of equal treatment and their personal experiences with equal opportunities at UCM. The questionnaire contained 10 questions, male and female respondents were invited to complete the survey via email.
Evaluation of results
A total of 758 persons completed the questionnaire, including 542 male/female students and 210 male/female employees of the university. The responses provided a valuable insight into the current atmosphere at the University, highlighting areas that deserved improvement.
Selected key findings:
Perceptions of equality of treatment and opportunity:
- 87 % of male and female respondents think that UCM provides equal treatment and opportunities for all.
- 82 % respondents perceive that they are treated as equals in all aspects.
- 62 % of male and female respondents said that they had not experienced a violation of the principles of equal treatment and equal opportunities in the last year.
Perception of the need to put measures in place:
- 65 % respondents consider that measures to promote fair treatment principles are necessary.

The results of the questionnaire show that although students and staff perceive the overall atmosphere at the university as good, there are still areas where improvements need to be implemented. These improvements should mainly be directed towards communication, mental health promotion, monitoring of equal treatment processes, transparency and improving conditions at the university.
